Q: Are Far & Wild Oils & Blends 100% "Pure Therapeutic Grade?"
A: Quality is of the utmost importance to us. All Far & Wild Oils are 100% free from any additives, adulterants, fillers, synthetics, or dilutions. They are of the highest quality and are processed according the most strict industry standards. Some brands refer to this same standard as "pure therapeutic grade"—we like to simply call it 100% Pure and Natural.
Q: Is the purity and potency of Far & Wild products verified by a third party?
A: Yes. Each lot of Far & Wild essential oils are tested by an independent third party lab. These results verify the quality, purity, and potency of each single essential oil through a testing process called Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry test (GC/MS). We provide results of these single oil tests with each purchase.

Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS): Mapping the volatile components of essential oils to create a unique, fingerprint-like, chemical composition profile. Also ensuring oils are not contaminated with toxic levels of arsenic, cadmium, lead, or mercury.
Polarimetry: measuring optical rotation of light passing through oils, an indication of purity.
Refractometry: measuring refractive index, an indication of purity.
Specific Gravity: measuring density of the essential oil.
Chirality: testing molecular structures, when necessary.
Peroxide Value: detection of possible rancidity.
Organoleptic: assessment of flavor, odor, and consistency.

If you live outside of USA or Canada, simply email us within 90 days of purchase, and we will authorize your full refund for your opened or unopened bottles. Shipping and duties for international returns must be paid by customers.
Q: Why are Far & Wild essential oils less expensive than the Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) brands?
A: Multi-Level-Marketing brands like doTerra and Young Living are expensive by design. Approximately 60% of MLM product prices is allocated to paying their network of MLM advocates. These brands advertise that their high prices are a factor of high quality—in fact, those high prices are a result of their business model.
Far & Wild, on the other hand, is a direct-to-consumer business, bypassing complicated sales models and retail stores, and instead selling directly from our website. You can order essential oils of the same quality as other brands but without unnecessary markups, delivered right to your door.
Q: Does Far & Wild have a yearly fee or a required monthly premium?
A: There are no monthly or yearly fees, or monthly minimums—only buy what you need. Far & Wild also offers subscription purchasing options for customers who wish to save money on frequently purchased products.
Q: How are Far & Wild Essential Oils processed?
A: All Far & Wild essential oils are steam distilled and are the first distillation except Far & Wild citrus essential oils. Far & Wild citrus essential oils (Wild Orange, Lemon, etc.) are cold-pressed and not steam distilled.

Q: Where is Far & Wild made?
A: Far & Wild is proudly bottled in the United States.
Far & Wild products are 100% plant-based. We source our botanical crops from around the globe, choosing tried-and-true regions for each specific oil to ensure we’re getting the highest quality plants. These plants are sustainably harvested both domestically and internationally and brought to the United States for quality testing before bottling.

Q: Are Far & Wild essential oils safe to ingest?
A: Far & Wild essential oils are harvested and processed according to the highest industry standards of purity and potency. Because of that high level of potency, it's important to consult a physician before taking essential oils internally as individual reactions can vary greatly. Please note that the International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that essential oils be taken internally without the supervision of a medical doctor.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Orders ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary based on location—most deliveries within the US arrive within 1 to 5 business days after shipping from our facilities. Deliveries to addresses in Canada are typically 7–10 business days.
Please note: Many shipping services are experiencing delays due to COVID-19. While these delays are difficult to predict, we will do our best to notify you of any expected delays with your order delivery.
